So I went to Santa Fe to view art and eat some good food. I spent the day on Canyon Avenue viewing some art and visiting several galleries. I had read about a great restaurant in Santa Fe called Geronimos and had wanted to try it for several months. I figured what the heck, i am here lets do this. Very cool place, sat down and enjoyed the atmosphere and ordered my meal. Started with a pineapple frise salad with a killer pumpkin/olive oil vinaigrette with tempora pear on top. Very nice. Then I order the elk. Marinaded 3 days in an asian sauce(not racist. that was his words not mine) and beer. Very tender and paired with some nice wild mushrooms and snow peas. Tasted with some 2006 "The Boy" K vintners, Walla Walla. I have to say, top 10 meals of all time. Funny happening: I paid the bill with my credit card and the waiter walked back and said, "Crystal Lewis?".
"Why, yes I exclaimed".
He continued to say how he is a big Crystal fan( I said me too), then continued on to say he loved the song I wrote 'Only Fools". Seriously, what a small world.
